National basketball player Satou Sabally has to take a forced break in the WNBA due to injury. Sabally had to pause because of a knee injury, said her club Dallas Wings.
The 24-year-old will at least miss the match against leaders Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday. Whether the Berliner can play again afterwards is open. She scored her 500th point in the WNBA in Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Storm.
Sabally’s sister Nyara, picked fifth in this year’s draft by the New York Liberty, will miss the season entirely with a knee injury.
