Samuel Purola was unable to put combs for foreign reinforcements in Espoo.

In February, Purola clocked the new 200-year-old Finnish hall record of 21.09. A record of 20.74 outdoor tracks was set at the end of May in Lahti.
The runner in Oulu is satisfied with his development.
– The properties have clearly moved forward since last spring. When the right day happens, times are in a different order. I know where I would be fine in this condition.
Purola believes that its own record may soon improve. The Finnish record is Tommi Hartosen 20.47.
– If the conditions are the same as in Lahti and the process is similar, but the technical stuff works, a tenth or two can leave my record.
