Putin’s soldiers tell families what’s really happening in Ukraine

More than 100 days ago, Kremlin warmonger Vladimir Putin (69) attacked all of Ukraine.

Since then, the Ukrainian army has been fighting back as best it can, inflicting heavy losses on the Russian army. The Russian state media withhold reports about the high number of fallen soldiers so as not to lose the support of the population – but they no longer have complete control.

The truth about the extent of Putin’s war is slowly spreading in Russian society. More and more rumors are circulating in the country, some fathers and mothers have not had any contact with their children for weeks.

► And: Waldimir Putin’s soldiers call their families from Ukraine. Some tell their parents what really happens during the “special operation” – these stories spread like wildfire in smaller towns.

The portal “was translated‘ published a phone call between a Russian soldier and his mother, which the Ukrainian secret service intercepted. Behind the portal is Dmitri Masinski from Estonia, who has set himself the task of translating documents and telephone calls from the war in Ukraine.

My son, I am really very worried”

The content of the conversation: The mother fears for her son’s life in the service of the Putin army. “Do you still have your pills?” she asks worried. “Yes, mother, I have,” replies the son. “My son, I am really very concerned. I understand you’re tired and nervous, but I’m worried.”

► The reason for their fear: rumors of high losses among Russian troops.

“It’s about the guys who, together with the 30th brigade, invaded Donetsk and the surrounding area. A boy from the 30th came back and said that of the 15th brigade, of the boys that were in that place, 20 percent are alive and some are missing.”

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense assumes that more than 30,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine.

She admits: “It’s scary, it’s so scary. There are 100 men left of the 31st Brigade. It’s a nightmare what’s happening here.”

Her son only answers in monosyllabic. The mother spreads her worries: “When will this all end? Aunt Natasha said something that the officers are now betraying their own people. I try to find out everything when someone says something somewhere. But the airborne troops have been through the most, they’re going through hell.”

The Ukrainian defenders and the Putin army are currently fighting fiercely in eastern Ukraine. The Ukrainian army spokesman Olexander Motusjanyk told dpa that there was intense fighting “practically along the entire front line in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions”.

Most recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (44) stated that 60 to 100 Ukrainian soldiers are killed every day.
