Scooter rider drives (too fast) with hard drugs and money through the city center of Groningen

The Groningen police arrested a scooter rider in the night from Saturday to Sunday for possessing and transporting hard drugs.

Officers pulled over the scooter rider in the city center because he was driving too fast. In order to measure the construction speed of the scooter, the man was ordered to drive to the police station. The officers then noticed that he was driving very slowly and that his hand reached into his jacket pocket.

They thought they found a remote control for a speed limiter. This appeared to not be the case. The man was in possession of hard drugs and a large amount of cash.

The scooter, drugs and money have been seized.
