★★★★ First warning: do not bring children under ten or twelve to see it. This is at the same time a very dark social film and a ruthless satire of the world we live in. There is a troubled pre-teen who is given a doll possessed by the spirit of a ninja who wishes to avenge the murder of another child. The number of adult references is huge and the pace is sometimes closer to South Park than Pixar. A great exercise – cruel, but good nonetheless.
