200,000 people expected at Kortrijk Sinksenfeesten

For four days, the city bustles with street theatre, music festivals, a flea market and much more. With Kortrijk Weide, the Sinksenfeesten will also have a new location.

Many streets in the city center are closed to traffic, it is best to park in the underground car parks that remain accessible. Kortrijk expects 200,000 or more visitors on four days, and the police are also ready to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Ruth Vandenberghe, mayor: “The police will be massively present on foot, by bicycle, on horseback. Everyone is eager to make Kortrijk shake to its foundations. But it must be safe. Drones and cameras will also be deployed.”
