“Tmm I protect you”: Symba releases new song with music video

Playboysmafia member Symba has released a new song – as always without much announcement. This is entitled “Tmm I protect you” and was produced by Kev Koko from Berlin.

In the accompanying video, Symba dances through a kitchen, flexes with folding phones and makes “gang signs out of the Peugeot”. Musically, the 23-year-old remains true to himself and delivers a summery, light song with a subtle melancholic touch with “Tmm ich beschütz dich”:

“What I’m doing is an attempt, but I can do it
Running away from ourselves, but also safe from the cops
Friends push packs in the city in front of the blocks”

Symba last released the single “I’m disappointed” at the beginning of the year. The rapper has not released an album or an EP so far. Instead, Symba surprises at irregular intervals with individual singles, which mostly meet with a huge response from the public. It is not really known where this unusual release structure comes from, but there are some rumors that either attribute the low musical output to a clever marketing strategy or attempts to blackmail the Playboys Mafia crew in the background. Maybe Symba is just too busy at the moment for an EP or an album. In addition to his rap career, the Berliner also studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Occasionally he can also be seen in film projects, including in “Bibi & Tina 3” and “My Paris”. The latter also features his rap colleague Pashanim.
