“You were on a juice channel!”

A lot of celebrities sooner or later have to deal with it: the juice channels, the gossip magazines of modern times. Even Chantal Janzen, the biggest female TV star of RTL 4, had to believe it a few weeks ago. Her husband Marco Geeratz was then hit hard by the juice channel Juice Channel.

Marco was accused by the juice channel of being a cheater. Two anonymous sources were cited as claiming “he likes going to a hotel with other ladies.” He would often be spotted in sportswear at Hotel Van Gogh in his own residential area.

A pretty spicy gossip, which Chantal is now being asked about for the first time. A reporter from Show news: “Of course these are strange times in showbizland with all those juice channels and situations. You were on it recently. What do you think of that?”

‘No attention!’

Chantal shows that she has received the news from the juice channel, but reacts very measured. “I’m not going to pay any attention to that.”

The Shownieuws reporter tries to get a little more quotes: “It seems so intense that you as a celebrity are now such a target.”

Chantal: “No, but you always have been, haven’t you? If you’re with your k… If you’re famous, you know. Every profession has its drawbacks and yes, that comes with the job. Yeah, I’ve never really had much trouble with that, no.”

“Does it keep you awake?”

It is obvious what tactic Chantal follows here: not to go into the substance of the accusation and above all not to blow up the matter. A smart tactic, which of course works a lot better than the Steenwijk method.

Finally, the Shownieuws reporter: “You don’t lose sleep over that?”

Chantal: “No.”
