Gülçin Ergül, the ex-soloist of the group Hepsi, was injured in the accident that occurred at around 20:15 on Monday, 13 December at the Susurluk location of the Istanbul-İzmir road, while her lover Erdal Şeyda Lafçı was stuck in the vehicle. During the control of the medical team, it was determined that Lafçı had died.
After the first intervention of the medical team, Ergül was taken to Balıkesir Atatürk City Hospital and treated. Erdal Şeyda Lafçı’s lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Susurluk State Hospital after the investigation by the prosecutor’s office.
CANNOT ATTEND THE FUNERAL
Gülçin Ergül, who was kept under surveillance at the hospital because her treatment did not end, could not attend the funeral of Erdal Şeyda Lafçı, who was sent off on her last journey in İzmir.
The singer, who could not get over the shock of what happened and buried her lover, began to receive psychological support. It was learned that Ergül, who was experiencing great pain, was seeing her psychologist three days a week and that her parents did not leave the singer alone even for a moment during this difficult period.
Gülçin Ergül talked about what she went through just before and after the accident on the ‘Magazine D Saturday’ program. Answering the questions of Asiye Acar, the famous singer burst into tears.
“HE WANTED ME TO PROMISE FOR OUR GOALS”
“We were going to Istanbul for a radio show,” said Ergül. He said, ‘I can’t imagine it.’ He asked me to speak for our goals.”
“EVERYTHING HAPPENED IN THREE SECONDS”
“Everything happened in three seconds. Every time I tell it, I live it again… In the first periods, I was constantly thinking about those moments of trauma, I was questioning myself whether I could do everything right,” the singer continued, “I don’t remember just before the accident, but I remember after the accident. “I remember trying to be calm in moments of shock, waiting for ambulances,” he said.
Ergül said, “I didn’t feel anything at that moment, I thought that there was nothing. I realized later that I was injured, there were places on my arm that needed stitches on my broken body. There were people around us who helped us. I informed Erdal’s family first.”
“I LEARNED THAT HE DEATH ON THE SITE”
Continuing his words by saying, “I was alone for four hours, I do not know who I called and talked to,” the famous name said, “They told me at the scene that Erdal passed away. I tried to stay calm as much as possible, it was a very difficult time.”
Stating that he tried to spend time with himself and meditate as much as possible after the accident, Ergül said, “As time passes, this is not a test that ends. But you learn to deal with it a little more.”
CELEBRATED HIS BIRTHDAY
Gülçin Ergül did not forget her lover on her birthday. Celebrating the birthday of the late Erdal Şeyda Lafçı with emotional expressions, Gülçin Ergül said;
“Today is the birthday of the man who showed me the last limits of my capacity to love, and he will always be with me no matter where the flow takes him, in all circumstances. I’m glad he touched my life and my heart, happy birthday.”
Continuing his words, Ergül said, “Now if they give me my lost glasses, if they promise me a sunny life now, if they ask me if they want me again now, I’ll wear them all on top of each other. I feel very sad and they never come back. Those who have memories hurt even more.”
