Four people, including two children, have been killed in a traffic accident on a desert road in Israel.
Two more people were injured in the collision between a truck and two cars, according to local media on the authority of the emergency services. The injured were taken to a hospital by helicopter.
The truck was carrying new cars. The cause of the accident is not yet clear.
The desert highway along the Jordanian border is one of the deadliest roads in Israel. The two driving directions are not clearly separated due to the lack of road markings.
