Milan close to Lang of Bruges: there is an agreement with the player

For the attacking midfielder, Bruges would like 22 million, Noa’s agent and father met Maldini and Massara on Wednesday: as soon as the Rossoneri have clarity on the corporate front they can close

Noa Lang is very close to moving to Milan. If the AC Milan club had not been temporarily blocked on the market due to the imminent transfer of ownership from the Elliott fund to RedBird, Maldini and Massara would probably have already been able to close the deal. But the dt and the ds champions of Italy are about to expire, it is not yet very clear who gets to authorize the purchases and therefore in via Aldo Rossi he hesitates a bit, trusting in the fact that the impasse will not get too long.

The meeting

The certainty is that on Wednesday agent Bart Baving and Jeffrey Lang (Noa’s father) met the Rossoneri managers at Casa Milan and deepened the discussion. This is the second time they see each other, the first was in February. Noa has every intention of moving to Milan, the economic agreement with the player has already been found on the basis of a five-year term. Not even the card represents a big obstacle: the 22 million requested by Bruges did not scare Maldini and Massara, with a small discount it is likely that it can be closed. Not in a very short time, however, precisely by virtue of the limbo in which Milan are in these days: only the final thrust of the Devil is missing.

Role

The role chapter is also interesting. That too was addressed at the summit. Well, Lang was offered a job as a central attacking midfielder “under striker”, the role that at the beginning of last season should have been reserved for Brahim Diaz. Lang can play in all three positions behind the center forward, usually winger on the left but he knows how to adapt. And it is precisely there that Milan most need to strengthen, also considering the farewell of Kessie who had been advanced in the central attacking midfielder in the last weeks of the season just ended.
