In old Berlin, a men’s party at the Kremser – with lots of beer – was simply part of a successful Father’s Day!
That has changed. BZ shows you the coolest daddies on Daddyday. On some tours, women are now also allowed to come along. And instead of beer, some even carried oat milk in Tupperware. Weather well, mood still liquid…
In Brandenburg, the tradition of drinking together continues, for example in Schildow (Oberhavel). There men were traveling with a horse-drawn wagon. In Borgsdorf we went around with carts and drinks. According to the police, the situation remained relaxed everywhere.
Berlin’s Christians also rushed outside on Ascension Day. For example, in Mitte, after a service in the Berlin Cathedral, the faithful went to the Marienkirche. There was a service with communion there.
The Schwof can be continued on Friday and at the weekend, as many have taken this Friday off. The BZ presents Berlin’s eight best beer gardens. There will surely also be a cozy spot for you!
And the weather forecast? Meteorologists expect a mix of sun and rain. Thunderstorms and squalls are possible, temperatures up to 19 degrees. Saturday and Sunday will be the same.
So: nothing like getting off the sofa and out into the full life. We wish you great days.
