The bicycle bus continues to gain popularity in the Catalan capital. This Friday a new route will be launched along Diagonal, which will start at the crossroads between Roger de Flor and València streets and will reach Plaça de las Glòries. The Guàrdia Urbana, as usual, will support young cyclists from the Ramon Llull, Gaia and Encants schools, and the Escola Bressol Municipal Leonor Serrano. The Associació de Famílies d’Alumnes de la Escola Gaia organizes the new line together with the other centres.

The meeting point of the school platoon will be at 8:20 a.m. and will pass through the center of the Diagonal. The first stop will be at the Ramon Llull (at the intersection of Aragó and Consell de Cent), it will continue to the Gaia school (Castillejos) to end up in Castillejos street, with the students of the Encants and Leonor Serrano schools.
The bikebus was introduced in Catalonia in Vic a little less than a year ago and arrived in Barcelona last April in the Sarrià neighbourhood, today without operation due to parking problems. In September he arrived in Eixample, with release in the Sant Antoni market, with a line that has already held 15 editions. In December, the Sant Andreu route of the 30 Passos school was implemented. It is held once a month and this Friday will see its second edition.
