Union duo awarded “Goal of the Month”.

For their strong back-heel co-production in the winning goal against RB Leipzig, the strikers Sven Michel and Kevin Behrens from 1. FC Union were awarded the goal of the month for April by the ARD “Sportschau”. With 32.8 percent of the votes, they were ahead of Frankfurt’s Ansgar Knauff and his 1-0 lead in Eintracht’s quarter-final first leg in the Europa League against FC Barcelona.
