Dallas Stars head coach Rick Bowness is stepping down

The head coach of Dallas Stars changes.

Those who joined the lions this week Miro Heiskasen and Esa Lindellin head coach at Dallas Stars is changing as head coach Rick Bowness is stepping down, the club informs on Twitter.

Bowness, 67, piloted Stars for two and a half seasons. The Stars season ended with the first round of the NHL playoffs, with Calgary Flames advancing from the inter-team playoff series with a 4-3 match.

The Bowness Stars became familiar with their straightforward and defensive playing style. However, this season, the stars did not get their game on their flocks but only occasionally.

Bowness became the team’s head coach from the assistant coach’s site in the middle of the 2019–2020 season.

– Rick is one of the most respected and loved people to have ever coached in the NHL. He has dedicated his life to our species, the GM of Stars Jim Nill comments.

“He stepped into the role of head coach seamlessly and guided our team through unprecedented events that affected our players and staff on and off the ice,” Nill continued.

In addition to Heiskanen and Lindell, Stars played in this season Jani Hakanpää mixed Joel Kiviranta.

In addition to Bowness, assistant coaches John Stevens, Derek Laxdal mixed Todd Nelson leave the Stars.
