The Flemish government is extending Karl Vrancken’s mandate as PFAS assignment holder until the end of 2022. By then, a strengthened PFAS action plan should be on the table. The role of the contract holder is also being expanded. For example, Vrancken has to work out an approach for large yards. The contract holder himself is asking for quick clarity about the closed Oosterweel shipyard.
