The Casualty Extraction Rescue Teams (CE-RT) gave a demonstration in Antwerp on Wednesday in which Mayor Bart De Wever (N-VA) acted as a hostage-taker. In the city an intense collaboration has developed between the police and the fire brigade. In recent months, hundreds of police and firefighters have already been trained in the new way of working at CE-RT.
