AMSTERDAM – A 40-year-old Utrecht citizen and a 36-year-old Briton were arrested in a major international investigation into drug crime. The man from Utrecht was arrested in Abu Dhabi on Friday. The Briton was arrested in Switzerland that same day, the Public Prosecution Service reported on Monday. Both are suspected of being involved in the importation of 7,179 kilos of cocaine via the port of Antwerp and thus via Dutch territorial waters, namely the Western Scheldt.
