Wanda Sykes has still not gotten over the March event.
Actress Wanda Sykes, 58, is one of three presenters at the March Oscar gala.

In his speech, Rock pricked up Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Although Sykes was not involved in the incident, he followed it as a presenter from close range.
Sykes has still not recovered from what he experienced.
– I’m still traumatized. I can’t talk about it or start crying, Sykes said last week.
“I can’t understand that he just continued to sit there after all that,” Sykes continued, referring to Smith not being removed from the opportunity after his stroke.
Smith later resigned from the Academy Award-winning Film Academy.
“I will resign from the Academy of Film and Science and accept any other consequences that its board deems appropriate,” Smith said.
– My activities at the 94th Oscar Gala were shocking, painful and unforgivable. The list of those I have hurt is long. It includes Chris, his family, many of my dear friends and loved ones, all those present, and global audiences at home, the man stated.

Sykes also spoke about the events of the Oscar gala recently Ellen DeGeneresin on the show. At the time, he mentioned that he could be physically ill when he thought about the events of the gala.
– And when Smith was still allowed to sit at the gala, I was horrified. I just thought how awful it was. How the wrong signal it all gave, Sykes said in Ellen DeGeneres’ program.
Sykes was also horrified by his friend Chris Rock, who was beaten by Smith.
Rock had reportedly apologized to Sykes and other presenters for the incident stealing attention from the entire gala. He thought the presenters would have deserved attention for their good work rather than an insane incident.
In addition to Sykes, the gala was hosted by Amy Schumer and Regina Hall.
