Also the Carolina Hurricanes and the Tampa Bay Lightning have advanced to the second round after a win in the seventh game. The Hurricanes beat them 3-2 (1-0, 2-1, 0-1). Boston Bruins through, Max Domi scored twice in the second period.
The Lightning defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 (1-0, 1-1, 0-0), Nicholas Paul scored both goals for Tampa Bay.
