Rewatch Here: Will Smith Beats Chris Rock at the Oscars
On Thursday, Chris Rock had a little more to say about the Will Smith incident on his new comedy show ‘Ego Death’. “In case anyone wonders: I’m fine,” it sounded already laughing. “I almost have my hearing back.” After that, the comedian made it clear that he still has no intention of talking about the Oscar incident. “People expect me to talk about this bullshit, but I’m not going to do that right now. I’ll talk about it someday… on Netflix,” the American comedian joked. Rock then went on to say, “People who say words can hurt have never been slapped in the face.”
Last month, Chris Rock said during one of his other comedy shows that he has no plans to talk about the Oscar incident for the time being. “I am okay. I’ve got a whole show and until I’m paid I’m not going to say anything about it.” Also during a visit to the Comedy Cellar in New York, Rock said the following: “Your expectations are too high. I’m not going to talk about that whole thing.”
