Minkowskie – Treasure hunters hope to unearth ‘tons’ of gold and other wartime valuables and art in the abandoned village of Minkowskie in southwestern Poland. The Nazis allegedly hid it and left it at an old palace that was used as a brothel by the SS. “We expect a lot from it and it could be worth a fortune,” said researcher Tomasz Górski.
