Although the municipality would like to celebrate another celebration in the city, it announced on Monday that a big championship party is not in it this year either. A staff shortage would make it impossible to properly manage the ceremony.

Last year there was no official celebration due to corona, but then the Ajax selection celebrated the championship on the arena deck together with thousands of supporters. There has been a concrete wall there since last week that should prevent Ajax fans from climbing on the fences of the deck, just like last year.
The police say they are aware of the appeals from the supporter groups and will follow everything closely tomorrow. For those who want to do that from home: from 10 p.m. AT5 will broadcast live from the Arena. Of course only if Ajax is champion after tomorrow evening.
