Marcolin and Timberland extend license partnership to 2026

The Italian eyewear manufacturer Marcolin SpA and the Timberland brand, which belongs to the US group VF Corporation, are continuing their long-standing cooperation. Both companies announced on Tuesday that they had prematurely extended their license partnership, which had existed since 2003, by five years. Under the terms of the agreement with TBL Licensing LLC, Marcolin will now design, manufacture and distribute Timberland branded eyewear frames globally through at least December 2026.

The contract extension is an expression of the “close relationship” between the two companies, according to a statement. “Marcolin is committed to the values of the brand and creates eyewear collections that respect its tradition.” Sustainability should also play an important role in future products: “The range contains environmentally friendly models made of bio-based materials that have a lower impact on the environment “, explained the two companies, which also initiate tree planting campaigns together with the online platform Treedom.

The Marcolin Group, based in Longarone in northern Italy, is one of the world’s leading eyewear manufacturers. The group owns its own brands Web Eyewear, Marcolin and Viva, and also holds eyewear licenses from well-known fashion and shoe labels such as Tom Ford, Guess, Adidas, Bally, Moncler, Max Mara and Skechers.
