‘Lego blocks’ against cut-through traffic are disappearing in Torhout

This construction has given the street the nickname “Lego Street”. The blocks have since been moved regularly. But now the city wants a more sustainable solution.

It is still a temporary operation.

Mayor of Torhout Kristof Audenaert: “We once again met with the local residents. There will be a new test set-up and it will be ready by the summer, before the construction holiday, and the intention is to start the real works in 2025.”
