A man was seriously injured on the Veedijk in Berlicum on Sunday. He was found along the water of the Groote Wetering. According to people in the neighborhood it would be a mountain biker. The man was said to have been unconscious, but when emergency services arrived, he was regaining consciousness. “He cried out in pain,” a 112 correspondent said. The man has been taken to a hospital. What happened to the man is under investigation.
