Jorge Jesus, one of Fenerbahçe’s coach candidates, made stunning statements to the Brazilian press about his future. Stating that he will return to Portugal in a short time, Jesus said that the yellow-dark blue team is waiting for him and he has to make a decision.

Flamengo was the pinnacle of my career in every way. The time I spent there is historic for me. Not just for the titles we’ve won, but for my relationship with the players. I’ve never had a team where we’re so one. I felt that they loved me very much. I felt that there was a very strong harmony between me and the actors.
I’ll have to start thinking about what to do with my career when I come back to Portugal. I’ll have to decide when I’m gone. What I want most is for Flamengo to achieve the goals it deserves. I may be the coach of Flamengo in the future, I don’t know, one year and two years… Now I’m free and I can choose whomever I want. Maybe I’ll sign a team in a month or two. Right now I just have to go back and train. This much.
