A train conductor of the NS was grabbed by the throat on Saturday evening by a passenger driving black. A 19-year-old man from Tilburg has been arrested. This is reported by the police.
When the conductor asked the young man for his ticket, he was unable to show it. When writing a fine, the 19-year-old Tilburger went crazy. He became aggressive and grabbed the NS employee by the throat.
The black rider then fled. He looked for a door that could open. He couldn’t find it, as the driver kept the train closed. By destroying something, the man eventually forced a door and ran out of the stationary train.

Police officers, who had meanwhile been alerted, were able to grab him near Deurne station. He was transferred to the Eindhoven police station.
The conductor has filed a report and is particularly shocked by the incicent, says a police spokesperson. It is unknown if she suffered any injuries.
