Five German teams in Champions League possible

…with a win against 1. FC Union Berlin if RB Leipzig loses against FC Augsburg.

Europa League/Conference League:

– In principle, the DFB Cup winner and the fifth in the table each get a ticket for the Europa League, the sixth in the table is qualified for the playoffs to the Conference League. If the cup winners, this year SC Freiburg or RB Leipzig, have already qualified for the Champions League or the Europa League, the table sixth would be in the Europa League and the seventh would qualify for the playoffs to the Conference League.

– Before matchday 33, Bayer Leverkusen, SC Freiburg and RB Leipzig already have a place in the European Cup behind FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund. Freiburg and Leipzig benefit from the fact that they are seventh in the table – either as cup winners, or because the other club will be better as cup winners and thus placed in the top six.

1. FC Köln will surely reach a place in the European Cup on Matchday 33…

…with a defeat against VfL Wolfsburg if TSG 1899 Hoffenheim don’t win against Bayer Leverkusen.

1. FC Union Berlin is sure to reach a place in the European Cup on Matchday 33…

…with a win at SC Freiburg.

…with a draw or a defeat at SC Freiburg if TSG 1899 Hoffenheim don’t win against Bayer Leverkusen.
