Marc O’Polo opens flagship store and showroom

The clothing supplier Marc O’Polo AG is increasingly focusing on Paris in the future: on Wednesday, the Stephanskirchen-based company announced that it would be opening a flagship store and a “hybrid showroom” in the French capital. In the future, the fashion metropolis should serve as “an international hub for global partners and customers” of the brand, explained Marc O’Polo.

CEO Maximilian Böck explained the background to the choice of location: “Paris is the cosmopolitan city of fashion. There is no better place to present ourselves to a broad and international audience – both partners and customers,” he said in a statement. “Paris is a focal point on our journey to become one of the leading sustainable casual lifestyle brands in the global premium segment. At the same time, France is an important market that we would like to expand further from the capital.”

The new flagship store opens its doors to customers on Saturday. It is located at 13 rue des Archives in the Marais district. In the future, Marc O’Polo will be offering women’s and men’s clothing as well as shoes and accessories on an area of around 250 square meters. The company is setting up its showroom not far from the store. This should “not only play a central role for France”, but also become a “global meeting place for international partners, customers and dealers” “as part of the internationalization strategy”, according to a statement.
