Do you want to go to the Dorpsstraat on Saturday 7 May for a message or a terrace? Chances are you’ll be run over by hundreds of Dachshunds. It is then the Dutch Day of the Dachshund.

With a bit of luck, this year’s Dutch Dachshund Day will break the world record for ‘largest dachshund group photo’. Even if you don’t have a dachshund yourself, go and have a look at all those cheerful yelps on Saturday.

The program of the Dutch Dachshund Day

The Dutch Day of the Dachshund starts on Saturday 7 May at 10:00 AM. A unique Zoetermeer event where more than 500 people from the Netherlands and abroad come together with their dachshunds. It promises to be a fun day with lots of dog love and fun activities.

Through the Dorpsstraat are stalls with stuff for dachshunds, a vet and breeders. There is an animal photographer, a dachshund playground and a puzzle walk that owners can take with their dogs. Fun to do and a funny face.

At 2 p.m. the dachshund group photo is taken with which organizer ‘t Dierenparadijs wants to break the record. The photo is taken in the open-air theater opposite the CKC. The Dutch Day of the Dachshund ends at 4 p.m.
