New single “Teufel” will be released at 5 p.m

At the end of May, Die Toten Hosen will be releasing the retrospective “Alles aus Liebe – 40 Jahre Die Toten Hosen” to mark the band’s 40th anniversary. ROLLING STONE also dedicates the current cover story to Campino and colleagues.

The five are already giving a foretaste of the special edition, which will contain the band’s classics as well as new recordings and even seven completely new titles, with the single “Teufel” today (April 29).

Most recently, a new recording of “Wort zum Sonntag” including an updated nostalgic music video was released at the beginning of April. The premiere of the “Teufel” music video takes place on the Band’s YouTube channel where fans can already exchange information in the chat.

The new single is about “passion at any price: together with full throttle on the way to disaster – you know it and still don’t want to turn back”, according to the band about “Teufel”.

The song will be released with the also new song “Parasite” on a 7″ single limited to 6,000 copies.

For the Toten Hosen it is a matter of honor “to start our anniversary year with new songs”. They are grateful for “being able to travel for 40 years and make a living from making up music and sharing it with other people” and therefore wanted to give something back to their fans.

As part of their anniversary tour, the Toten Hosen recently announced an additional date in Flensburg and a relocation of the concert from Großpösna to the Festwiese Leipzig.

Her predecessor single “Scheiss Wessis”, which is supposed to contain a “plea for common ground” in a joint project with Marteria, was released in March.

Die Toten Hosen are the title of the current ROLLING STONE print issue, and the issue also comes with a vinyl single with a reissue of “Here Comes Alex” and “Achterbahn” on the back.
