The Premier League saw the confrontation of two mixed super clubs as Chelsea, looking for a new owner, arrived as a guest at Manchester United in the downswing.
Blue-shirted Chelsea dominated the match almost to their liking, but in the end the points were split by a 1-1 draw. He started scoring Marcos Alonsowhich bombarded the guests at the hour with a great volley.
