Emilia-Romagna’s GP started to look a little boring after the middle. The Red Bulls went for their spending, and Ferrari Charles Leclerc was already almost certain of the third.
Then the audience collapsed. Leclerc’s overcrowding retaliated worse 10 rounds before the end. Ferrari’s young star drove into a bend from a really steep angle and landed directly on top of the cobblestone.
The car spun off the track. Leclerc had to visit the depot and the final collapse collapsed sixth.
Ferrari’s day was gloomy, for Carlos Sainzin the race ended unlucky as soon as the start when McLaren Daniel Ricciardo caused a crash.
Max Verstappen drove to an overwhelming victory, and at the same time, the point difference between him and Leclerc narrowed significantly. Leclerc still leads the World Championships in drivers, but only by 27 points to the Dutch champion.
In the Manufacturers World Series, Ferrari is number one with 112 points, but Red Bull is only 13 points away.
