Less than one percent of young talents who make their way to the youth academies of the Bundesliga clubs later end up in the professional field. In between there is a tough selection process. The pressure on children and young people to perform is enormous. The sports psychologist Moritz Anderten developed the sports psychological concept of the youth academy of the 1.FC Cologne and looks after Olympic athletes. In an interview with Nora Hespers, he gives insights into his work.
