German hockey men lose first game in India , Pro League – Newsticker

Harmanpreet Singh (17th/26th minute) and Mishra Abhishek (45th) each scored after penalty corners for the league leaders, who consistently used their chances against the inexperienced German team. Despite their third defeat in the current competition, they are still second in the table after nine games. However, the nine national teams represented played a different number of games due to the corona.

The second game will also take place on Good Friday (1:30 p.m.) at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in the east Indian city of Bhubaneswar, which has a population of 850,000. Originally, the two duels should have taken place in mid-March. However, several corona cases in the German team prevented the trip to India.
