Leonardo Bonucci got into an argument with an Inter official shortly before coming on

Italy’s European soccer champion Leonardo Bonucci has to pay a fine of 10,000 euros for an argument during the Italian Supercup. That was decided by the Serie A sports court.

The Juventus defender got into an argument with an official of the opposing team in the 2-1 defeat in the Supercup against Inter Milan on Wednesday evening.

A video showed the two arguing and pushing. The scene occurred in overtime shortly after the winning goal by Inter’s Alexis Sanchez at the last minute. According to media reports, Bonucci was about to be substituted on, but he was no longer on the pitch.

The exact reason for the dispute was initially unknown. Inter Milan was fined 5,000 euros.
