Cycling, Giro di Sicilia: Italian hat-trick with Caruso, Nibali and Pozzovivo

A head to head between the two Sicilians Caruso and Nibali with the Lucanian Pozzovivo third wheel. The final of the second stage of the Giro di Sicilia is a challenge between the three big blues of the race. The 34-year-old from Bahrain Victorius wins this race with the national team jersey, preceding the 37-year-old from Astana and the 39-year-old from Intermarche. For Italy the second consecutive success after Malucelli’s victory in the stage on Tuesday.

With this result the leader of the race changes with Malucelli who gives the jersey to Caruso. Behind him Nibali at 4 “and Pozzovivo at 6”.
