The Estadio BBVA in Monterrey is one of the venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. FIFA uses the name during the tournament Monterrey Stadium.
The arena opened in 2015 and is located in the suburb of Guadalupe in the Monterrey metropolitan area. It is the home of Mexican first division club CF Monterrey, also known as Rayados.

With around 53,500 seats, the stadium is one of the larger football arenas in Mexico. Depending on the sources, the stated spectator capacities of the stadiums may vary. For the World Cup, the facility will be adapted to FIFA specifications.

Monterrey is one of the most important football locations in Mexico. The city has two of the most successful and most popular clubs in the country, CF Monterrey and Tigres UANL. Accordingly, the region has been considered particularly fond of football for years.
