Top talent Fábio Carvalho (19) is likely to leave Fulham at the end of his contract in the summer and switch to Liverpool for a million-euro training allowance. The Premier League returnee-designate is said to be in contact with Shakhtar Donetsk over Manor Solomon to fill the Portuguese forward’s position.
transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed a corresponding report in the newspaper “The Telegraph”. John Percy, a reporter for the newspaper, first reported on talks between the English and Ukrainian clubs over the 22-year-old winger. Accordingly, it is about a transfer volume of around 8.4 million euros (7 million pounds). Romano even wrote about final negotiations.
Solomon is one of the most valuable players in Ukrainian Premier League. The two-footed attacker had not made use of the opportunity granted by FIFA to suspend his contract in Donetsk, which ran until the end of 2023, as a result of the Russian invasion and initially switch to a loan deal.

Shakhtar signed Solomon from his youth club Maccabi Petah Tikva in 2019 for €6m. Since then he has scored 22 goals and nine assists in 106 appearances for Shakhtar, winning two league titles, one cup and one Super Cup. He also increased his market value through strong performances in the Champions League to 18 million euros. This makes Solomon by far the most valuable professional from Israel.
