After Annechien Steenhuizen and Jeroen Overbeek, there is another missing newsreader: Daphne Lammers has not been seen at the RTL News desk for quite some time. “Where is Daphne Lammers? I receive a lot of DM messages about where Daphne Lammers is at RTL News. I asked,” says TV authority Tina Nijkamp in her podcast.

What does RTL say about it? Tina: “I said: ‘Well, you really don’t have to tell me if it is a private matter, but is it true that she will be absent for a longer period of time?’ Yes, she is currently absent, has been for a long time, and RTL says nothing about the reason. I find that very understandable, but it is true that she has not been seen for some time.”
She continues: “It seems that that will be the case for the time being. I wish her a lot of strength. I thought she was a very nice presenter at RTL News, but you can see that quite a few faces have been lost recently at both the Journaal and RTL News.”
‘It stands out’
That is immediately noticeable, says Tina. “Because I immediately received a lot of questions about it, just like I also received a lot of questions in my DMs from Jeroen Overbeek and Annechien Steenhuizen. They have really become acquaintances of yours. Fortunately, Antoin Peeters is back at RTL News, but they are really acquaintances for you as a viewer.”
“Those people from the Half Eight News or the NOS Journaal. Of course, it also has many regular viewers, it is in a fixed pattern and then it is very noticeable if you are suddenly not there. Anyway: we wish Daphne Lammers a lot of strength and I don’t know what is going on.”
