The sequel to Flodder is uncertain. Tatjana Simic is waiting for the viewing figures, but is already blaming the weather. “We had very nice weather for a few days, so few people watched.”
The legendary comedy series Flodder recently returned to the screen at Videoland, and it remains to be seen whether there will be a second season. The viewing figures for the last episodes are not yet in, and leading actress Tatjana Simic already has an explanation ready for the possibly disappointing viewing figures: the weather was nice.
Weather forecast
Tatjana says she depends on the weather. “We are still waiting for the viewing figures for the last two episodes, because we had bad weather when we premiered,” she says in Show news.
She continues: “Then we had very nice weather for a few days, so few people watched, and then bad weather came again, so we are still waiting for the final result. What is also important: Germany starts with Flodder in September. RTL Germany. And we are also waiting for that.”
Opinion of audience
What do you think of people’s reactions? Tatjana: “I have a lot of fans via Instagram, because I don’t follow all those social media channels, but on Instagram I get a lot of messages and I also read all the comments myself.”
“In general it is positive, surprising, so I think that is very important to know, what do people really think of it? Whether we continue also depends on the opinion of the public.”
‘Depends’
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden states that the reactions are mixed. “It’s a bit in between if you go by the reactions. I personally felt like, as the season progressed, it became a bit childish. I thought: hmm, I want a little more of the brutality as it used to be. That could be a bit more.”
And Privé star journalist Jan Uriot in the podcast Strikt Privé: “She is of course not the best actress we have in the Netherlands, but she is just funny and we love Tatjana.”
