The Austrian Fashion Association (AFA) is showing the project “Here, There, Within” in Brussels from June 11th to 13th, 2026. The initiative combines an exhibition, a publication and a poster campaign in public spaces and presents works by 13 designers and labels that are supported as part of the AFA’s funding programs.

Participants include Flora Miranda, Florentina Leitner, Hao Wu, Hisu Park, Julian Schock, Alessandro Santi, Benedikt Simon Salchegger, Dead White Men’s Clothes, Gatto, Lore, Matthias Winkler, Sassa Ann Van Wyk and Used To Be. The opening will take place on June 11th at 6 p.m., the exhibition will be open on June 12th and 13th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In terms of content, “Here, There, Within” sees itself as an examination of contemporary fashion as a cultural, social and political medium. The focus is on designers with a connection to Austria, whose work is shaped by European networks and exchange between metropolises such as Vienna, Berlin, Antwerp, London and Paris. The project makes visible how fashion arises and works today between local roots and global developments. The accompanying campaign consciously takes place in public spaces and “reclaims space, visibility and recognition for independent designers in a field dominated by a handful of global corporations from luxury fashion to fast fashion,” says the statement.
