The cast with Giorgio Pasotti and Neri Marcorè
Elena Radonicich plays Marta/Klara. “This character tells us that to be ourselves, sometimes, we put on masks, but in authentic relationships our deepest essence is released,” declared the actress. Pasotti described Lorenzo thus: « «He’s a brilliant character from British comedy. He is a father dealing with two children who have suffered the loss of their mother. Lorenzo, like a tightrope walker, tries to juggle between work and the management of Luigi and Chiara, failing to do so, despite his efforts. So he resorts to a sui generis nanny who will radically and forever change the course of their lives. I had a lot of fun playing a light character.” The meeting with Marta will force the man to slow down, to let go and to remember that you don’t need to be perfect to be a good father or even to be happy.
Neri Marcorè is Gildo, Lorenzo’s boss: imposing, braggart and narcissistic. He loves being the center of attention, surrounding himself with adoring employees whom he promotes more out of sympathy than merit. Playing Chiara, a 16-year-old environmentalist and vegetarian years old, is Giulietta Rebeggiani, while the shy, sensitive and fan of role-playing games Luigi, aged 9, is Leo Besozzi. Marta will win over the youngest of the family with chips and dancing. Thanks to her, the child will find the courage to come out of his shell, to rebel against bullies and even, between one fall and another, to get back on his BMX.
