Rico Verhoeven was practically tied in the eleventh round when he ran into an uppercut from Usyk that gave him an 8 count. The referee then stopped the match, a controversial decision because the Dutchman was still able to absorb the Ukrainian’s punches. A big disappointment because Usyk barely got a grip on the former kickboxer and even seemed to be behind 1 jury member. Shortly after the match, Rico spoke about how he experienced it all.
