Amsterdam wants to continue with the plan to ban foreign tourists from coffee shops. According to mayor Femke Halsema, the public prosecutor and the police, this is the best remedy to combat drug nuisance in the city center. They stick to that position after a number of additional investigations and discussions with the coffee shop sector.
