On Sunday evening, officers arrested a 24-year-old from Bergen on the Plataanstraat in Bergen op Zoom on suspicion of drug trafficking. The man told them he was having problems with his brakes. The officers decided to help the man and parked the cars a short distance away. There they saw the man throw a bag from his car.
It turned out to contain hemp and cocaine. The man, known for previous drug offenses, was taken to the detention center. The police also seized his car, the drugs and an amount of a few hundred euros.
