Tatlıses’ close friend Hülya Avşar also answered questions about this issue. Saying that Tatlıses, nicknamed the ‘Emperor’, deserves the award, Avşar, 58; used the following terms:
“Everyone has their own faults. Nobody is a white spoon out of milk. İbrahim deserves it professionally. It should not be kept together with his private life. In my opinion, the greatest voice ever in Turkey.”
