Swe are used to seeing her flawless on the red carpet, but the Instagram profile of Kasia Smutniak it often tells a different reality, made of nature, mud and a lot of self-irony. One of the latest Instagram stories published by the actress portrays her in a decidedly bucolic dress, with a big straw hat and a spade in his handswhile trying to get his garden back on track. The mission is clear: planting tomatoesbut timing and geometry seem to work against her.

«I’ve been struggling with the vegetable garden for a month, I am already back. I should already be planting, at least the tomatoes, but instead…» begins the actress. Leaning on the handle of the hoe, she disconsolately observes the result of hours of work. The smartphone camera rotates to frame the loose ground, revealing eight mounds of earth arranged in a row which, in the original idea, should accommodate the seedlings. However, Smutniak herself cannot help but notice a disturbing detail: the layout and shape of the holes they resemble anything but lush farmland.
