South Korea will reduce the buffer zone on the North Korean border, allowing the public to get closer to the neighboring country. The South Korean Ministry of Defense reported this on Wednesday. With the new measure, the country wants to “improve the comfort of the local population while ensuring the effectiveness of military operations,” South Korean Defense Minister Ahn Gyu-back explained.
